Mark Wagner's Dollar Bills


For most, the one dollar bill is a small note that often finds itself lost in the abyss of pockets and stripper thongs. For Mark Wagner, they are the source of his brilliant collages that make new use of the dollar bill, playing on the idea of currency as a strangely complex - and often overlooked - form of art...with a few pokes at Mr. Washington included for good measure, of course.
