While I'm currently obsessing over Billy Reid's lineup for Spring/Summer, I have to admit that his recent interview with T Magazine has generated a newfound respect for this unique designer who has quietly blended his Southern-gentry roots with a commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship and remarkable style (if you've ever seen his Bond St. store, you'll know precisely what I mean). While his discussion on roots, inspirations and an upcoming line with Stetson caught my attention, I must say that his commentary on the "American-made" renaissance is both refreshing and encouraging.
