New York's MoMA is celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement with their recent exhibition entitled Workshops for Modernity: Bauhaus 1919-1933. The exhibition celebrates all the legendary pieces, texts, and conceptualism that made this school into one of the most (if not the most) influential movements of modern design. Some highlights include the hallmark Marcel Breuer Wassily chair, Josef Hartwig's anti-military chess set, and the re-discovered "African" chair (recently found in someone's living room in 2004!). I present you with a few images to help spark inspiration, and remind us all of the influence this movement has on our lives. Enjoy!
